Maison Ama Lurra

Drawing on the culinary traditions of Europe, Maison Ama Lurra offers specialty coffee, fine teas and food lovingly prepared to the highest quality. Nestled in the heart of North Melbourne, between the Queen Victoria Markets and Errol Street, Maison Ama Lurra is a spacious and comfortable renovated warehouse equipped with free wifi.

Coffee

We use our very own Ama Lurra specialty coffee, which is organic and Rainforest Alliance certified. Our baristas have both the technical knowledge and tools to produce the perfect cup of coffee.

Tea

Mariage Frères, imported directly from France, is one of the oldest tea companies in the world, having traded teas and spices since 1660. We put the same expertise and care into preparing our tea as we do with our coffee – each order is carefully brewed to time, with specific water temperature (not boiling!), and served in cast-iron pots.

Maison Ama Lurra offers a select European-inspired menu, including all-day breakfast/brunch/lunch and afternoon tea options. Soups, Sandwiches, Tartines (French open sandwiches) are the specialty of the house. Cakes and sweets are our other passion with a selection of cakes, pastries and muffins baked fresh every day.

Meeting Room facilities

Maison Ama Lurra is a cafe with a difference – a clean, light and spacious venue with meeting rooms available within. The meeting rooms are ideal for conferences, business meetings, workshops, or even informal gatherings.

The Large Meeting Room is available for hire at $25 p/h + food and drinks
The Small Meeting Room is available for hire at $15 p/h + food and drinks

The board room can seat up to twelve people, the smaller meeting room up to eight. Choose from our corporate menu – Breakfast/Morning tea/Lunch/Afternoon tea options available – we cater for your every need while you entertain your guests.

We have free WIFI, a projector available for hire and there is an abundance of parking on Howard St.

We can also offer half day and all day packages with full catering. Prices are available on application. So whether its business or social, large or small, formal or informal this is an excellent and affordable experience.

Functions

We are available for private functions, parties, wedding receptions, trade shows and more (check out the 360 venue tour icon below). Evenings from 5pm-11pm and all day/evening Sat/Sun.
